Anne wrote of this work: "I created this image in response to an incident I was involved with in a remote region of Kazakhstan in 2004. Whilst on a trek, we had to cross an extremely fast flowing river. Our guide, a local fisherman, advised us to link arms and cross as a group a practice often used in this area." Shortlisted in the M16 Drawing Prize in 2008. |
